Why is my station submission being rejected?

If you are having trouble updating your station information on TuneIn, it's likely that one or more of the following pieces of information are missing or invalid:

Stream URL: Possible reasons for rejected streams are covered here

Station Name: Many stations have similar names. Please include the station's page on tunein.com (if it exists) in your email to expedite the process. If your tunein.com page does not yet exist, please provide as much detail about your station as possible. (What is your station's website? What country and city is it located in? What kind of content do you stream?)

Terrestrial Station Concerns: When submitting a terrestrial AM/FM or DAB station, valid proof from the radio frequency regulatory body that your station is legally licensed with is required. This should include the city of license, the correct frequency, and official call sign (if applicable). If your regulatory body has a website with an online radio spectrum database, providing a direct link to that information is helpful.

Keep in mind that most, if not all, terrestrial stations located in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. are already listed on TuneIn. This could result in a rejection of a new station submission when only an update to an existing one is needed.

Podcast Submission: You are attempting to submit a podcast feed as a station stream. For directions on submitting podcasts, click here

Logos and Cover Photos: 1200 x 1200 pixel logos and 1024 x 300 pixel station cover photos submitted in PNG or JPG format are preferred. Alternatively, a direct URL to the image is also acceptable. Incorrectly sized images will not be accepted.
